The bike gets somewhere between 40 and just shy of 50 mpg, depending on a lot of factors I haven't yet fully figured out. The tank is 3.6 gallons main, 0.6 gallons reserve. If I assume a "worst case" mileage of 40mpg and multiply that with the capacity of my main tank, it works out to 144 miles. That should be more than enough to get me between any two points in Arizona.
But I'm a worrier.
You fail to factor that into the equation.
I worry. A lot. :-)
