... that was definitely not delivered in the spirit of mockery. I was trying to tie together the three themes: spacetime continuum, whatever may be not part of it, and the intersection (miracles) of the the two.
Quite honestly, your introduction of spacetime continuum is somewhat clarifying. I say that because it gets a secular-leaning person to consider the limits of "existence," and whether anything exists outside the boundaries of what we call existence. All the emotional concepts like "God" and "heaven" and "hell" are removed. It's a purely rational exercise in confined speculation.
It's also clarifying because it suggests -- rightly, I think -- that Heaven is not simply "our present earth, cleaned up." You've expressed the concern -- again, rightly, I think -- that if Heaven is that, then eternity in that might be burdensome. But what if Heaven like that is only provided as a reference for us, but is really unbounded by any of that. That's a kick to think about.
Note: I'm reminded of the Simpson's episode where Homer went into the computer animation realm. Someday, perhaps already, the Simpsons will be studied as a cultural barometer of our times. It's brilliant.

Today is the 5th annivesary of the attacks of September 11th. It also marks the 5th anniversary + one day since my dog Rusty was put to sleep. He was a good friend. May he rest in peace.
