They're quite something, aren't they?

• Pete Doherty feeds joint to penguins.
• Madonna worries about the way her daughter dresses
• Al Gore (global warming crusader and ex-VP of US) has house that consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year

I'm particularly amused by Madonna and Gore. One would think a celebrity would know to practice what one preaches. But I honestly believe they think there's a true distinction between themselves and others. By the way, George Bush's Texas ranch is, by comparison, a model of conservation -- heated/cooled by circulating ground water; gray water re-usage for irrigation; use of limestone cast-off stone from local quarry; solar panels for water.
